Independent Committee Member Recruitment – Safeguarding Committee

Remuneration: c£2k per annum

Our Safeguarding committee provides assurance to emh group Board that we are a quality provider of care and support services and safe housing services for vulnerable children and adults. It will oversee the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and controls across the group, review any serious incidents, and monitor any actions plans required as a result of Care Quality Commission inspections.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future success of one of the leading social housing providers in the Midlands. We serve a diverse range of tenants and service users across the East Midlands, including people with mental health support needs, older people and people with learning disabilities.

We wish to hear from people with expertise and strategic leadership skills in safeguarding and/or an understanding of Care Quality Commission regulation.

The Safeguarding Committee meets four times a year, in addition to which Committee Members will be required to attend occasional training sessions, site visits and planning days.
